Prakash Industries Ltd achieves highest steel production in Q3FY21

Prakash Industries Ltd has achieved highest production of Steel at ~2.6 lakh tonnes and highest Power generation at ~3267 lakh units in this quarter at its steel plant in Chhattisgarh.

Further, the Company has mined ~1.8 lakh tonnes of Iron Ore from its Sirkaguttu mine in Odisha in this quarter.

The Company is likely to achieve ~10% Steel production volume growth in this financial year. Further, the Company is benefiting from the improved steel industry prospects due to strong demand and higher realisation.

Shares of PRAKASH INDUSTRIES LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.61.65 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 60.35. The total number of shares traded during the day was 119105 in over 806 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 62.6 and intraday low of 60.65. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 7324557.
