CSB Bank Limited grows deposits to Rs. 17752.97 crore and gross advances to Rs. 13425.24 crore

CSB Bank Limited has announced provisional business updates for the period ended December 31, 2020.

Total Deposits were 16.48% higher YoY at Rs. 17752.97 crore (provisional) as of Dec 31, 2020 as against Rs. 17468.44 crore as of Sep 30, 2020 and Rs. 15241.11 crore as of Dec 31, 2019.

Out of the above, CASA deposits was at Rs. 5392.96 crore (provisional) as of Dec 31, 2020 as compared to Rs. 5134.06 crore as of Sep 30, 2020 and Rs. 4353.22 crore as of Dec 31, 2019.

Term Deposits were at Rs. 12360.01 crore (provisional) as of Dec 31, 2020 as against Rs. 12334.38 crore as of Sep 30, 2020 and Rs. 10887.89 crore as of Dec 31, 2019.

Gross advances of the bank was up 22.64% at Rs. 13425.24 crore (provisional) as of Rs. Dec 31, 2020 as compared to Rs. 12761.80 crore as of Sep 30, 2020 and Rs. 10947.28 crore as of Dec 31, 2019.

The advances against Gold & Gold Jewellery increased 60.36% YoY to Rs. 5633.75 crore (provisional) as of Dec 31, 2020 as against Rs. 4938.98 crore as of Sep 30, 2020 and Rs. 3513.25 crore as of Dec 31, 2019.

Shares of CSB Bank Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 218.80 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 218.10. The total number of shares traded during the day was 13,709 and the deliverable quantity was 8,271 shares.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 219.90 and intraday low of Rs. 217.40.
