Refex Industries Ltd appoints additional directors

The Board of directors of Refex Industries Ltd, at their meeting held on today i.e. December 29, 2020, has appointed additional Directors Mr. Shailesh Rajagopalan (DIN: 01855598) in the capacity of Non - Executive Director and Mr. Ramesh Dugar (DIN: 01686047) as an Independent Director.

Profile of Mr. Shailesh Rajagopalan

Shailesh is an accomplished Operations veteran, having worked across various industry verticals. Starting out with building IT solutions for the Retail domain, he has vast expertise in building custom IT solutions structured around custom process automation flows, which in a manner make the IT solution almost a bespoke build.

Having built solutions for Retail, Gaming and Industrial segments, he gained immense insights into not just solution designing, but also understood the various nuances of people management. He believes in the core philosophy that Execution of any project is dependent more on effective management of People. Having spent over a decade in IT Sales and Operation management, he chose to endeavor to build an enterprise of his own.

He ventured towards building an IT Solutions company, specializing in Reai-Time / Mobility technologies. While the startup outfit did well, in terms of wowing customers and users alike, in spreading awareness of the benefits that were an off-shoot derivative of deploying technology in the most plausible manner. Marquee names had been signed up as clients, however, despite all goodwill and effort, the company was not sustainable, as the market for its services at the time were limited.

Since then he has been helping build enterprises, coming on the board as amongst the first handful employees and running the mandate to build the businesses in sustainable manner, by nurturing the right talent, mentoring and motivating them to go above and beyond the call of their duty. In this journey he has been instrumental in rebuilding multiple enterprises.

Mr T. Ramesh Dugar aged 47 is Director of Dugar group of Companies. He has completed his B.Com Graduation from Loyola College, Chennai and has also attained his diploma programme certification in Marketing Management from Loyala Institute Business Administration. His forte is in the field of finance and investment. Mr T. Ramesh Dugar is into the property development domain and also has established a name for himself in the real estate market. In addition to the above he acts as a trustee for K C Chellammal Charitable Trust and N T Dugar Foundation.

He is currently an active director in Dugar Finance & Investments Ltd, Kiwi Entertainment Vistas Ltd, Goodworth Properties Pvt Ltd and also a partner in Dugar Infrastructures. His continuing guidance has helped with effective leadership in relation to the Company's strategy, performance, and risk management as well as enduring high standard of corporate governance which has led them to thrive in competitive markets. His Achievements also include holding the position of Vice Chairman of Hindustan Chamber of Commerce, one of the prestigious commerce chambers in India and being an active Vice chairman of All India Manufacturers Organization. He was also the chairman of South India hire purchase Association and Madras Hire purchase Association.

Shares of Refex Industries Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs.100 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 102. The total number of shares traded during the day was 61192 in over 473 trades.
