Basant Maheshwari Wealth Advisers LLP logs into Burger King India Ltd

Basant Maheshwari Wealth Advisers LLP has purchased 24,31,959 equity shares of Burger King India Ltd in NSE at a price of Rs. 112.79 per share. The shares of the QSR chain listed in bourses today and saw huge demand. The shares listed in BSE at Rs. 115.35 as against the issue price of Rs. 60.

The shares went on to hit an intraday low of Rs. 108.40 and high of Rs. 138.40, up by Rs. 78.40 or 130.67% against the IPO price. The shares closed at the upper limit of the circuit filter of 20% for the day. In BSE, 1,91,54,767 equity shares were traded and the deliverable quantity was 61,05,280 equity shares.

In NSE, the shares opened the day at Rs. 112.50 and hit an intraday low of Rs. 108.40 before closing at intraday high of Rs. 135. 18,67,92,834 equity shares were traded in NSE and the deliverable quantity was 5,85,56,398 equity shares.

The other notable buyer in NSE was Valiant Mauritius Partners Offshore Ltd, which bought 25,00,000 equity shares at a price of Rs. 130.28 per share.
