Ashok Leyland Limited reports 5% YoY increase in November 2020 sales

Ashok Leyland Limited has reported sales figures for the month of November 2020. The company has reported 5% increase in sales during November 2020 at 10659 units as against 10175 units in November 2019. Domestic sales was 4% higher in November 2020 at 9727 units as compared to 9377 units in November 2019.

LCV sales was up 32% YoY at 5545 units in November 2020 as against 4209 units in November 2019. Domestic LCV sales increased 31% YoY to 5305 units during November 2020, as compared to 4056 units in November 2019.

M&HCV sales dropped 14% YoY to 5114 units in November 2020, as against 5966 units in November 2019. M&HCV bus sales was down 74% YoY to 584 units in November 2020 as compared to 2290 units in November 2019. M&HCV Trucks sales was up 23% YoY at 530 units, as against 3676 units in November 2019.

Domestic M&HCV sales was down 17% YoY at 4422 units, as compared to 5321 units in November 2019. Domestic sales of M&HCV trucks was up 23% to 4238 units as against 3447 units in November 2019. The domestic sales of M&HCV Bus dropped 90% to 184 units in November 2020, as compared to 1874 units in November 2019.

Shares of ASHOK LEYLAND LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.92.1 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 88.9. The total number of shares traded during the day was 3039796 in over 13144 trades.
