Jio Platforms Limited receives subscription amount of Rs. 33,737 crore from Google

After receipt of all requisite approvals, Jio Platforms Limited, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited, has received the subscription amount of ₹ 33,737 crore from Google International LLC (a wholly owned subsidiary of Google LLC). Jio Platforms Limited has allotted equity shares to Google International LLC following which Google International LLC holds 7.73% of the fully diluted equity share capital of Jio Platforms Limited.

Shares of RELIANCE INDUSTRIES LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.1950.8 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1899.2. The total number of shares traded during the day was 598632 in over 38074 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1970 and intraday low of 1927. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 1168352610.
