BEML receives additional contract from DMRC

BEML has received variation order to contract 'MRS1' from DMRC, for additional 12 trainsets of 06 cars each (total 72 cars) to operate on line 2B and 7 of Mumbai metro project. The order is valued at Rs. 501 crores (approx) on equivalent INR basis. With this, the total contract value has increased to Rs. 4318 crores (approx) from the existing Rs. 3817 crores (approx), all amounts mentioned in equivalent INR, for supplies before August 2023.

Shares of BEML LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.655.3 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 654.25. The total number of shares traded during the day was 13643 in over 771 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 670.45 and intraday low of 651.85. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 9023352.
