IRCTC cancels Tejas Express trains on low occupancy

Due to low occupancy levels resulting from Covid-19 pandemic, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd (IRCTC) has announced that all departures of Tejas Trains are being canceled as mentioned below:

Lucknow-New Delhi Tejas Express (82501/02) - 23rd November 2020

Ahemdabad-Mumbai Tejas Express (82901/02) - 24th November 2020

The position would be reviewed after seeing the occupancy of Indian Railways on these sectors in future.

Shares of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd (IRCTC) was last trading in BSE at Rs. 138160 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1398.60. The total number of shares traded during the day was 22,339 and the deliverable quantity was 8,667.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1405.90 and intraday low of Rs. 1372.55.
