WABAG bags National Water Award by Ministry of Jal Shakti, Govt. of India

VA TECH WABAG LIMITED ('WABAG'), a leading pure play water technology Indian IVIultinational, has been honoured with the 3rd Prize under 'Best Research / Innovation / Adaptation of New Technology for Water Conservation' category at the 2nd National Water Awards, organized by Ministry of Jal Shakti, DoWR, Govt. of India.

With a vision to ensure water sustainahility, WABAG has been continuously innovating and implementing new and advanced technologies in the field of Water and Wastewater treatment and assuring clean and safe Water and Sanitation for the people of India since 1995.

Given the severe water stress India is reeling under, Water Recycle and Reuse emerges as a reliable and alternative source for ensuring Water Conservation and Security. Today, several states in India have come up with Reuse policies aiming at recycling 70% of Treated Wastewater by 2025 and 100% of Treated Wastewater by 2030, further providing impetus to the sector.

Shares of VA TECH WABAG LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.184.1 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 189.2. The total number of shares traded during the day was 21669 in over 903 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 187.45 and intraday low of 183.5. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 4007981.
