SBI Card Launches contactless Delhi Metro SBI Card

SBI Card, India's largest pure play credit card issuer, and Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), the largest metro network in India and one of the largest in the world, today announced the launch of a unique combo credit card - 'Delhi Metro SBI Card'. Thoughtfully designed for regular commuters on the Delhi Metro, the new contactless Delhi Metro SBI Card is a multipurpose card which functions as a credit card as well as a metro smart card, offering the convenience and safety associated with both in one card.

This affordable contactless credit cum metro smart card enables a convenient and hassle-free commute on the Delhi Metro, while allowing customers to avail rewards and savings on daily spend. In addition to the benefits of a metro smart card, the Delhi Metro SBI Card will offer 10% discount on metro travel as well as 10X reward points on spend categories, such as, dining, grocery & departmental store, movies and utilities standing instructions. Apart from this the customers can avail spends based reversal of annual card fees.

An auto reload feature on the card, wherein the card will be automatically topped up when the balance falls below a certain threshold, ensures an enhanced customer experience. This feature will further contribute to a seamless commute as cardholders will be able to recharge their metro cards without queuing up. The Delhi Metro SBI Card comes at an opportune time. It is particularly relevant in facilitating safe and seamless metro commute without the need to queue up anywhere, in times of social distancing.
