"MPC managed to surprise the market in a good way in today's announcements, despite no rate actions. Higher OMO size of Rs. 20,000 crore and OMOs in SDL are continuations of RBI's persistent efforts to keep rates low and assure financial markets of ample liquidity. In addition, announcements regarding on tap TLTROs and revised limits for risk weights will nudge the banks and NBFCs to lend further.

In many ways RBI's announcements today have taken uncertainties away, including that of growth outlook for the year and assured the market of continued support from RBI."
