CBI files FIR against Usha Martin Ltd, MD and others

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a first information report (FIR) on 2nd October 2020 in Delhi and NCR, against, Usha Martin Ltd, the Managing Director, Mr Rajeev Jhawar and certain other individuals, for alleged offences under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and the Indian Penal Code, 1860. CBI officials visited our office in Delhi on 3rd October 2020 in connection with the above.

The matter is under investigation and the company shall fully cooperate with the CBI and other law enforcement agencies, under appropriate legal advice.

Shares of USHA MARTIN LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.24.75 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 24.85. The total number of shares traded during the day was 12166 in over 79 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 25.5 and intraday low of 24.5. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 301979.
