The Mumbai-based real estate developer Godrej Properties Ltd. (GPL) (BSE scrip id: GODREJPROP), one of India's leading real estate developers, today announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire a well-located land parcel in Kalyan.
Spread across 20 acres, this project will offer approximately 139,000 square meters (1.5 million square feet) of saleable area comprising primarily of residential apartments of varied configurations with a small amount of retail / commercial space.
Kalyan is an established micro-market within MMR and this site is strategically located with multiple schools, hospitals, retail and residential spaces in close proximity.

Shares of Godrej Properties Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs.878 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 888.3. The total number of shares traded during the day was 13757 in over 705 trades.
The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 895.85 and intraday low of 870.95. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 12095152.
