Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd contribution towards Atmanirbhar Bharat

Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd has started the production at its Methanol Plant at Trombay Unit from September 8, 2020 and this is a step towards Atmanirbhar Bharat. With Methanol production, the company shall no longer be dependent on imports for its own requirement and will also be in a position to satisfy the needs of other Methanol dependent industries.

The Company has the capacity to produce 242 MT of Methanol per day. With this, it has entered into the select list of Methanol producers in the country, providing alternate to import and thus contributing towards Government's ambitious 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' Abhiyaan.

In the endeavor to support self-sufficiency in fertilizers, it has ramped up the production of its popular complex fertilizer, SUPHALA 15:15:15 by enhancing its production from 1500 MT per day to 2200 MT per day. Thus the production of SUPHALA increased by 17.3% in the month of August 2020 as compared to August 2019.

Shares of RASHTRIYA CHEMICALS & FERTILIZERS LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.45.5 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 46.2. The total number of shares traded during the day was 88595 in over 833 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 46.05 and intraday low of 44.75. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 4013602.
