ITC board to consider merger of companies in today's board meeting

A meeting of the Board of Directors of ITC Ltd is scheduled today, i.e. 04/09/2020, to consider and approve proposal for amalgamation of Sunrise Foods Private Limited, Hobbits International Foods Private Limited and Sunrise Sheetgrah Private Limited, wholly owned subsidiaries, with the Company, at its meeting convened for Friday, 4th September, 2020.

The Trading Window will open 48 hours from the announcement to the public of the Board's decision on the aforesaid proposal.

Shares of ITC LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.191.65 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 191.45. The total number of shares traded during the day was 903276 in over 11160 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 193.2 and intraday low of 189.95. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 172915259.
