SC directs telecom operators to pay 10% of AGR dues by March 31, 2021

Vodafone Idea Limited (the "Company") (IDEA / 532822) has provided updates on Supreme Court Judgment regarding AGR Matter.
The Hon'ble Supreme Court, vide its order dated 1 September 2020 has, directed that the Telecom Operators shall at the first instance, make the payment of 10% of the total dues as demanded by DoT by 31.3.2021. The Telecom Operators then have to make payment in yearly instalments commencing from 1.4.2021 up to 31.3.2031 payable by 31st March of every succeeding financial year i.e. 10 yearly instalments.

Shares of Vodafone Idea Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs.9.91 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 8.89. The total number of shares traded during the day was 140138197 in over 110095 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 10.1 and intraday low of 9.25. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 1357391862.
