Spencer's Retail Ltd allots 1,05,97,783 Equity Shares on rights basis

The Rights Issue Committee ('Committee') of Spencer's Retail Limited ('Company') at its meeting held on 25 August, 2020, noted that the rights issue was oversubscribed and further considered and approved the allotment of 1,05,97,783 Equity Shares at a price of Rs. 75 per Equity Share (including a premium of Rs. 70 per Equity Share) ("Allotment").

Accordingly, pursuant to the Allotment, the paid-up equity share capital of the Company stands increased from 7,95,34,226 Equity Shares to 9,01,32,009 Equity Shares.

Shares of Spencers Retail Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs.88.4 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 90.4. The total number of shares traded during the day was 48022 in over 724 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 91.15 and intraday low of 88.05. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 4298517.
