Central Bank of India has appointed Chief Risk Officer

Central bank of India has appointed Mr. Ashwini Kumar Shukla as Chief Risk Officer w.e.f 03rd August 2020. As part of reform agenda announced by Ministry of Finance last year August 2019, state run lender is first one to appoint a CRO from market.

Mr. Shukla has over 35 years of diversified experience in banking and was working as General Manager, Risk Management Department of State Bank of India, before his appointment in Central bank of India. With this appointment, 108 year old institution will further strengthen risk management and risk culture in the bankand lead to sustainable value creation for its stakeholders.

Shares of CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA was last trading in BSE at Rs.17.8 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 17.7. The total number of shares traded during the day was 127441 in over 564 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 17.85 and intraday low of 17.5. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 2241849.
