SRL Limited appoints Anand K. as Chief Executive Officer

SRL, India's leading diagnostic company, today announced appointment of Mr Anand K as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This is pursuant to the resignation of Mr Arindam Haldar, the former CEO of SRL Ltd, who has decided to pursue opportunities outside of SRL after leading the company over the last four years.

Mr Anand has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry in India and International markets. Prior to joining, he was with Apollo Group, based in Hyderabad, leading the diagnostics business of Apollo Health and Lifestyle Limited. His depth of experience in diagnostics business goes even further when he was associated with Neuberg Diagnostics, Metropolis and others. An acknowledged business leader, he is known for his strong record of building and leading great teams whilst delivering exceptional results. Anand is a graduate in Medical Laboratory Technology from JIPMER, Pondicherry and a Postgraduate in Management.

Shares of FORTIS HEALTHCARE LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.138.55 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 138.45. The total number of shares traded during the day was 74853 in over 786 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 140 and intraday low of 137.15. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 10389213.
