JSW Energy's agreement to acquire GMR Kamalanga Energy Ltd lapse

JSW Energy Limited has announced that the long stop date for the proposed acquisition of 100% stake in GMR Kamalanga Energy Limited (1050 MW) from GMR Energy Limited has elapsed. Given the continued uncertainty due to Covid19 pandemic, the parties have mutually agreed to terminate the said transaction.

Shares of JSW Energy Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs.45.95 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 46.1. The total number of shares traded during the day was 154717 in over 1277 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 47.5 and intraday low of 45.65. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 7168961.
