Shiva Texyarn launches Medic Virostat Mask at Rs 49

Shiva Texyarn, a Coimbatore-based, leading player in the technical textile market, has launched an Anti-Viral Anti-Bacterial reusable protective mask 'Medic Virostat' at a price of Rs 49.

The mask comes in four colors and in two sizes with price ranging from Rs 49-69 MRP. The mask is highly protective with more than 99 percent viral inactivation rate and barrier properties also. The mask can be washed minimum three times and re worn with the same level of protection. There is no toxic chemical in the mask and the testing for the same has been done in various National and International labs. Shiva Texyarn has also received ISO18184 certification for the anti-viral effect.

Speaking on the occasion Dr. Sundararaman K .S, Managing Director of Shiva Texyarn said "it is our goal to give the lowest cost and highest protection to the common man so even a PDS recipient or the humblest citizen of India receives protection from Corona and other airborne illness. This is 'Made in India' product and highest in its class in the world."

The company is planning pan India distribution of the mask and have enquiries from foreign sources also. The company produces over 20 lakhs Virostat masks and many other masks and PPE under the 'Medic' brand.

Shares of SHIVA TEXYARN LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.83 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 86.6. The total number of shares traded during the day was 418 in over 17 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 87 and intraday low of 82.6. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 34786.
