Unichem Laboratories Ltd receives ANDA approval for Baclofen Tablets

Unichem Laboratories Limited has received ANDA approval for its Baclofen Tablets, USP, 10 mg and 20 mg from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) to market a generic version of LIORESAL® (Baclofen) Tablets, 10 mg and 20 mg of Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp.

Baclofen Tablets are indicated for the alleviation of signs and symptoms of spasticity resulting from multiple sclerosis, particularly for the relief of flexor spasms and concomitant pain, clonus, and muscular rigidity. The product will be commercialized from Unichem's Ghaziabad Plant.

Shares of UNICHEM LABORATORIES LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.184.4 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 185.25. The total number of shares traded during the day was 20503 in over 751 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 192.7 and intraday low of 182.2. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 3832836.
