Opto Circuits India Ltd relaunches FDA approved Pulse Oximeters

Opto Circuits (India) Limited has relaunched its FDA APPROVED Pulse Oximeters which include Finger Pulse Oximeter, Bedside/ICU Pulse Oximeters, Multiparameter Patient Monitoring Systems under the brand names of MEDIAID AND CRITICARE. Over the past 12 years several thousand have been sold all over the world.

The Company has also re-launched its popular brand of digital Thermometers marketed under the brand names of FAICHNEY, MEDIAID AND LIFE AID. The thermometers are FDA approved for sale all over the world. Over the past few years several million thermometers have been sold in the US, Far East, Middle East and India.

The Company had acquired the Thermometer division from Hindustan Lever Ltd and the Pulse Ox range of products came through the acquisition of two US companies.

The Company has re-launched these products due to the renewed demand for products from India during the COVID 19 Pandemic.

The Company's Wholly Owned Subsidiary Eurocor GmbH has received the following awards from CVIR (Cardiovascular and lnterventional Radiology) at Int. Study Recognition 2020 Conference:

1. BEST OF 2019: EDITOR'S CHOICE AWARD: Top 10 Academic Papers 2019 for Freeway™ Stent Study.

2. Top 3 Poster, IROS 2020 (Salzburg): Subgroup Analysis of Freeway™ Stent Study.

In the recent months the demand for the company's products has gone up substantially due to orders from global customers and the company is maintaining a healthy order book.

Shares of OPTO CIRCUITS (INDIA) LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.16.3 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 17.15. The total number of shares traded during the day was 18871 in over 120 trades.
