Unitech clarifies on news item

With reference to the news item appearing in leading financial daily titled "Unitech gains on talk of stake dilution", Unitech Ltd has clarified to BSE that the contents of this news item are not based upon any information provided by the Company and are incorrect. The Company does not have any plans, at the moment of diluting equity stake to private equity players.
