AXISCADES announces the appointment of David Walker to the Board

AXISCADES Engineering Technologies Ltd., (AXISCADES), India's leading technology solutions company today announced the induction of David Walker, an American aerospace veteran, to its board of directors.

AXISCADES today announced the appointment of David Walker, an American aerospace authority who brings in vast experience in the industry and has led both technical and business development activities for several major aerospace companies.

David Walker is currently President & CEO of Astra Consulting, an aerospace consulting group with executives from several of the major aerospace companies. They specialize in supporting international clients in Business Development, Technical certification and Customer support.

Previously he was a Senior Vice President/Chief Technology Officer & Business Development for Spirit AeroSystems, responsible for leading the Spirit technical team and working with customers worldwide. In addition to having corporate responsibility for Engineering, Program Management and Business Development, he was also the Managing Director (Chairman) for the Spirit Progresstech Joint Venture in Russia. Prior to this he worked with Vought Aircraft Industries, which is part of Triumph group.

He graduated from Vanderbilt University with an honors fellowship Master's degree in engineering.

Shares of AXISCADES Engineering Technologies Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs.46.3 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 44.1. The total number of shares traded during the day was 754 in over 5 trades.
