Asian Paints Ltd board recommends final dividend of Rs. 1.50 for FY20

The Board of Directors of Asian Paints Ltd at their meeting held today, have onsidered and approved the recommendation of payment of final dividend of Rs. 1.50 (Rupee one and paise fifty only) per equity share of the face value of Rs. 1 (Rupee one) each for the financial year ended 31st March, 2020, subject to approval of the shareholders at the ensuing 74th AGM. The dividend, if approved by the shareholders will be paid on or after Thursday, 6th August, 2020.

The total dividend for the financial year ended 31st March, 2020, aggregates to Rs. 12 (Rupees Twelve only) per equity share of the value of Rs. 1 (Rupee one) each, including the first interim dividend of Rs. 3.35 (Rupees three and paise thirty five only) per equity share as approved and thereafter paid by the Board of Directors of the Company at their meeting held on 22nd October, 2019 and second interim dividend of Rs. 7.15 (Rupees seven and paise fifteen only) per equity share as approved and thereafter paid by the Board of Directors of the Company at their meeting held on 25th February, 2020.

Shares of ASIAN PAINTS LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.1683.65 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1653.45. The total number of shares traded during the day was 93279 in over 8494 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1688 and intraday low of 1641.15. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 155938290.
