XL Telecom allots 1100000 equity shares upon conversion of warrants

XL Telecom & Energy Ltd has announced that a Committee of the Board of Directors at its meeting held on March 27, 2008, has allotted 11,00,000 (Eleven Lakhs) Equity Shares of Rs 10/- each at a premium of Rs 125/- on conversion of warrants.

Sree Sahasya Enterprises Pvt Ltd (Previously Sree Sahasya Investments Pvt Ltd) & (Promoter Group) was allotted 11,00,000 equity shares on conversion of 11,00,000 warrants.

Consequently, the paid up Equity Share Capital of the Company has been increased from 17484972 Equity Shares of Rs 10/- each to 18584972 Equity Shares of Rs 10/-each.

The Stock closed the day at Rs.201.50, down by Rs.1.75 or 0.86%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.209 and low of Rs.199.

The total traded quantity was 32856 compared to 2 week average of 36794.
