Saurashtra Cement Ltd takes annual maintenance shutdown at Ranavav factory

Saurashtra Cement Ltd has taken annual maintenance shutdown of our Kiln and all the downstream equipment situated at our Factory Premises at Ranavav (Gujarat) effective from today i.e. 5th June, 2020. This maintenance shutdown is planned for about 35-40 days and will depend on the conditions of the machineries found during the inspection.

However, cement grinding and cement packing Sections will continue to operate meeting all the cement dispatch requirement. Hence there will be no impact upon the sales volume due to kiln stoppage.

Shares of SAURASHTRA CEMENT LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.39.05 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 37.5. The total number of shares traded during the day was 32165 in over 193 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 39.5 and intraday low of 37.55. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 1248707.
