Moody's downgrades rating of Powergrid

Consequent upon Moody's Investors Service (Moody's) downgrading of India's sovereign rating from baa2 to baa3, the rating of Powergrid Corporation of India Ltd (POWERGRID) has also been downgraded by one notch from baa2 to baa3 by Moody's.

Shares of POWER GRID CORPORATION OF INDIA LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.164.8 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 164.95. The total number of shares traded during the day was 169426 in over 1870 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 167.55 and intraday low of 163.9. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 27983865.
