Ashok Leyland's May 2020 sales drops 89% YoY

Ashok Leyland Limited has reported sales figures for the month of May 2020. The company has reported 89% drop in sales during May 2020 at 1420 units as against 13172 units in May 2019. Domestic sales dropped 90% YoY in May 2020 to 1277 units as compared to 12778 units in Ma7 2019.

LCV sales was down 73% YoY at 1154 units in May 2020 as against 4226 units in May 2019. Domestic LCV sales dropped 73% YoY to 1126 units, as compared to 4143 units in May 2019.

M&HCV sales dropped 97% YoY to 266 units in May 2020, as against 8946 units in May 2019. M&HCV bus sales was down 100% YoY to 0 units in May 2020 as compared to 1564 units in May 2019. M&HCV Trucks sales was down 96% YoY at 266 units, as against 7382 units in May 2019.

Domestic M&HCV sales was down 98% YoY at 151 units, as compared to 8635 units in May 2019. Domestic sales of M&HCV trucks was down 98% to 151 units as against 7325 units in May 2019. The domestic sales of M&HCV Bus dropped 100% to 0 units units in May 2020, as compared to 1310 units in May 2019.
