JBF Industries completes expansion at Silvassa unit

JBF Industries Ltd has announced that the Company has successfully completed expansion of Polyester Yarn manufacturing facilities at Silvassa. The commercial production of Fully Drawn Yarn (FDY) and Micro Yarn has started and commercial production of additional normal POY is expected to start shortly.

With this expansion, the Polyester Yarn manufacturing capacity of the Company has gone up from 60,000 TPA to 1,50,000 TPA. The Company also has Polyester Chips manufacturing capacity of about 3,36,000 TPA, out of which 2,16,000 TPA at Sarigam (Gujarat) had started commercial production in April, 06.
