Ashok Leyland Ltd allots NCDs for Rs. 400 crores

The Fund Raising Committee of the Board of Directors of Ashok Leyland Ltd on May 19, 2020, has allotted 4,000 (Four Thousand) Rated Listed Secured Redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures ('NCDs') having face value of Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakhs only) each for cash aggregating to Rs.400,00,00,000/- (Rupees Four Hundred Crores only) on private placement basis.

The said NCDs will be listed on the Wholesale Debt Market segment of the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd.

Shares of ASHOK LEYLAND LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.43.1 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 43.85. The total number of shares traded during the day was 983490 in over 2949 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 45.25 and intraday low of 42.85. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 43428385.
