Polycab India Ltd announces opening of manufacturing plant at Roorkee

Polycab India Ltd had earlier announced the temporary closure of manufacturing plant situated at Roorkee due to outbreak of COVID 19 pandemic. The plant has recommenced its operations w.e.f. 15th May 2020, after obtaining the requisite approvals, as applicable, from the concerned Government Authorities.

The scope of operations of the plant is on the basis of current requirements which may undergo a change on the basis of prevailing conditions on ground. The Company will continue to ensure health and safety of its workforce while remaining compliant with all the directives of competent authorities issued time to time.

Shares of Polycab India Ltd. was last trading in BSE at Rs.691.55 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 708. The total number of shares traded during the day was 13057 and the deliverable quantity was 6594.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 715.50 and intraday low of 687.05. The total turnover during the day was Rs. 91.21 lakh.
