Jindal Stainless allots 3972450 equity shares

Jindal Stainless Ltd has announced that on March 21, 2008, the Company has allotted 39,72,450 equity shares of Rs 2/- each (representing 2.57% of the paid up share capital of the Company) upon conversion of 39,72,450 convertible warrants, to the promoters of the Company.

Sh. Ratan Jindal was allotted 35,75,000 No. of Shares - 2.31% and Jindal Overseas Holdings Ltd was allotted 3,97,450 No. of Shares - 0.26%.

Consequent upon the above said allotment the paid up equity share capital of the Company has increased from Rs 30,12,24,964/- to Rs 30,91,69,864/- divided into 15,45,84,932 equity shares of Rs 2/- each and shareholding of promoter group has increased from 41.79% to 43.29%.
