Siris to allot shares on BIFR order

Siris Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on March 17, 2008, inter alia, to issue and allot 210,00,000 Equity Shares of Rs 10/- each to the Promoters and their associate companies as per the Sanctioned Scheme of the Hon'ble BIFR dated January 11, 2008. (This item was earlier proposed to be considered in the Board Meeting held on March 01, 2008, was deferred due to technical reasons and hence, now proposed to be considered in the ensuing Board Meeting).

This allotment of shares are pursuant to Hon'ble Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction (BIFR).
