BEML Limited enters into 3 non-binding MoUs with DCIL 
              The 159th meeting of SLBC was held at Hotel Ambassador Pallava on 26.09.2019. The meeting was chaired by Shri. Karnam Sekar, MD & CEO of Indian Overseas Bank and Chairman of SLBC-Tamil Nadu.
Indian Banks' Association vide its letter dated 06.08.2019 addressed to the Chief Executives of Public Sector Banks communicated on the Implementation of Uniform Banking Hours in all Public Sector Banks (PSBs) on PAN India basis as a part of EASE reforms and suggested 3 time sets for customer banking hours viz., 9.00 to 3.00 pm; 10.00 am to 4.00 pm and 11.00 am to 5.00 pm.
The PSBs in all the districts in our State decided to adopt the set 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. Lead District Managers forwarded recommendations to SLBC after co-ordination with DLCCs.
SLBC in its 159th meeting approved the Timing Set 2 i.e. 10.00 am to 4.00 pm as the uniform customer banking hours for branches of all public sector banks operating in the State of Tamil Nadu.
The new timing comes into effect from 01.10.2019 to be implemented by all branches of public sector banks in the State of Tamil Nadu. The Private Sector Banks have also been requested to follow the same time schedule to have uniformity in banking timings.
