Colgate Palmolive - Q2 results on Oct 31, 2006

Colgate Palmolive India Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on October 31, 2006, inter alia, to transact the following:

1. Take on record and approve the unaudited financial results (provisional) for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 (Q2); and

2. Consider and declare first interim dividend for the year 2006-07.

Further the Company has informed that November 10, 2006 has been fixed as the Record Date for the purpose of payment of First Interim Dividend for the financial year 2006-07.
