"Bank Nifty has gained 24% from last 1 year. During last year this time PSU banks were reporting heavy losses and erosion in net worth and selected private banks were in the last stage of high provisioning cost. Post last year Holi many things went in favor of banking space such as a) formation of fresh bad loan gradually declining, b) recovery process under IBC peaking momentum and last c) return of pricing for banks as barring few NBFC facing liquidity issue."
