Amtek India allots 5500000 shares

Amtek India Ltd has announced that the Allotment Committee of the Board of directors of the Company at its meeting held on January 15, 2008, has allotted 55,00,000 equity shares of Rs 2/- each at a premium of Rs 173/- per shares to the promoters group Companies on preferential basis.
