Suzlon Energy allots equity shares to the QIBs

Suzlon Energy Ltd has announced that the Securities Issue Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on December 20, 2007 has allotted 1,13,86,000 (One Crore Thirteen Lacs Eighty Six Thousand) equity shares of Rs 10/- (Rupees Ten Only) each for cash at an issue price of Rs 1,917/- (Rupees One Thousand Nine Hundred Seventeen Only) per equity share (inclusive of premium) aggregating to Rs 2,182.70 Crores to the selected Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) pursuant to Qualified Institutional Placement under Chapter XIII-A of the SEBI Guidelines.
