Opto Circuits AGM approves 40% dividend, 1:1 bonus issue

Opto Circuits India Ltd has announced that the shareholders at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company held on September 28, 2006, inter alia, have approved the following:

1. Payment of dividend @ 40%.

2. Increase in Authorised Share Capital of the Company from Rs 50.00 crores to Rs 65.00 crores by creation of 1,50,00,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each.

3. Amendment in Memorandum & Articles of Association of the Company.
4. Issue of Bonus shares - 1 bonus Shares for every 1 fully paid shares.
5. Investment of the Company’s funds under Section 372(a) upto Rs 250.00 crores.
