HDFC Mutual Fund Schemes increase stake in Sharda Cropchem Ltd

HDFC Asset Management Company Ltd (HDFCAMC) is the trustee for the schemes launched by HDFC Mutual Fund. HDFCAMC has announced that the aggregate holding of the schemes of HDFC Mutual Fund - HDFC Prudence Fund, HDFC MF Monthly Income Plan - Long Term Plan and HDFC Small Cap Fund in Sharda Cropchem Ltd (company) was 4.56% (41,10,396 equity shares) of the paid up equity capital of the company earlier.

There has been an increase in the shareholding of the company by the schemes of HDFC Mutual Fund by 0.53% as of March 13, 2018. As on March 13, 2018 the aggregate holding of the schemes of HDFC Mutual Fund in the company is 5.09% (45,90,396 equity shares) of the paid up equity capital of the company.

The HDFC Mutual Fund through schemes HDFC Prudence Fund, HDFC MF Monthly Income Plan - Long Term Plan and HDFC Small Cap Fund have bought 4,80,000 equity shares or 4.810% through market sale on March 13, 2018.

Out of 5.09% stake, HDFC Prudence Fund has 36,02,786 equity shares or 3.99%, HDFC MF Monthly Income Plan - Long Term Plan has 5,07,610 equity shares or 0.56% and HDFC Small Cap Fund has 4,80,000 equity shares or 0.53%.

Shares of Sharda Cropchem Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs.381.55 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 379.5. The total number of shares traded during the day was 425307 in over 542 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 389.55 and intraday low of 371.9. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 161688834.
