LIC had 15,10,40,864 shares or 5.160% stake in Ashok Leyland Ltd which reduced to 9,12,74,143 shares or 3.118% stake after the insurance behemoth sold 5,97,66,721 equity shares or 2.042% stake in the company through open market sale.
