SOCIETE GENERALE laps up 2,836,369 equity shares of Fortis Healthcare

After the ace investor R K Damani bought its shares on Monday (Feb 19, 2018), Fortis Healthcare Ltd saw SOCIETE GENERALE lap up 2,836,369 equity shares at a price of Rs. 143.11 through secondary market buying at Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday (Feb 20, 2018).



The seller was ECL Finance Limited, who invoked the pledged shares and sold 3,014,702 equity shares at a price of Rs. 141.69. These shares are the ones pledged by erstwhile promoters Singh brothers entity (Fortis Healthcare Holdings Pvt Ltd) who are now out of the company.

Shares of FORTIS HEALTHCARE LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.153.45 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 146.35. The total number of shares traded during the day was 15310951 in over 78077 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 155.65 and intraday low of 135.3. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 2214581900.
