Pantaloon Retail signs MOU with Alpha Airports Group plc, UK

The Board of Pantaloon Retail has approved an MOU with Alpha Airports Group plc, UK for forming of a 50-50 Joint Venture Company for developing travel retail and food & beverage catering business at leading airports in India. Alpha Airports Group operates over 150 shops in 15 countries with an annual turnover of over USD 880 million and rated among top ten global players. Alpha is currently operating duty-free shops at Cochin International Airport since 2002.
