The Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Edelweiss Capital Ltd received overwhelming response from investors with the issue receiving 110.96 times subscription till 8:15 PM on November 20, 2007.

The issue opened for subscription on November 15, 2007 and closed for subscription today - November 20, 2007.

The issue has received total bids for 930559088 equity shares against the offer of 8386147 equity shares. The issue has received bids for 40312568 equity shares at cut-off price.

Out of the issue, Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) portion has received bids for 751790752 shares against the offer of 4908965 shares resulting in a subscription of 153.1465 times.

The Non Institutional Investors portion of the issue has received subscription of 164.3048 times with bids for 134427576 shares against the offer of 818160 shares.

The Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) portion of the issue has received bids for 42259080 shares against the offer of 2454482 shares resulting in a subscription of 17.2171 times. The Employee Reservation portion of the issue received subscription of 10.1774 times with bids for 2081680 shares against the offer of 204540 shares.
