Ashim Investment Board recommends 10% dividend

Ashim Investment Company Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on September 29, 2006, inter alia, has recommended for declaration at the Annual General Meeting a dividend of 10% on the 59,50,508 Equity Shares of Rs 10 each (i.e. Re 1.00 per Share) in addition to the fixed Preferential dividend @ 7% p.a. on the 89,161 Cumulative Redeemable Preference Shares of Rs 10 each for the period April 01, 2005 to June 30, 2006. If approved at the Annual General Meeting, the dividends will absorb Rs 68.74 lacs (including dividend tax of 8.46 lacs).
