Jain Irrigation AGM approves 4% preference shares, merger of Orient Vegetexpo Ltd

Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd has announced that the members at the 19th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company held on September 29, 2006, inter alia, have approved the declaration of 4% dividend on Preference Shares up to March 31, 2006, and 18% on Equity Shares of the Company.

Regarding merger of M/s Orient Vegetexpo Ltd with the Company w.e.f. April 01, 2006 subject to all regulatory approvals through the BIFR route.
