Alembic Glass Allotment Committee Meeting on Oct 03, 2006

Alembic Glass Industries Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Allotment Committee of the Company will be held on October 03, 2006 to consider and allot shares to the shareholders of erstwhile Shreno Ltd., in accordance with the Share Exchange Ratio as determined under the Scheme of Amalgamation of erstwhile Shreno Ltd with the Company.

The shareholders of erstwhile Shreno Ltd will be issued one equity share of Rs 100/- each for every six equity shares of Rs 10/- each held in erstwhile Shreno Ltd as on October 03, 2006.
