Ajanta Pharma Ltd allots 8500 shares

The Compensation Committee of the Board of Ajanta Pharma Ltd has at its meeting held today has allotted 8,500 fully paid up equity shares of Rs. 2/- each, upon exercise of options.

In view of the above, the paid up capital of the Company stands increased to Rs. 17,60,29,000 consisting 8,80,14,500 equity shares of Rs. 2/- each.

Shares of AJANTA PHARMA LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.1150.75 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1160.4. The total number of shares traded during the day was 23516 in over 1809 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1169.85 and intraday low of 1106. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 27046885.
